All About Me

As the youngest of five, I have been told I am a great example of a child with youngest child syndrome, in comparison to my four older siblings who each have a variation of oldest and middle child syndromes.

I am a very family orientated person because of the size of my family and because of how much they have inspired me throughout my life, they are the constant in my life that I can always rely on no matter how far apart we are.

Born and raised in Long Beach, I decided to leave southern California for the Bay Area in order to get out of comfort zone and become a more independent person away from the luxury of living at home with my parents.

If I had to describe myself in three words, I would use the words: bright, friendly, and dependable because I try to be positive about everything, approachable to everyone, and a reliable person in and out of class.

Since coming to San Jose State, I have become involved in campus serving on the Bricks Hall Government my first year, becoming a member of Akbayan the Filipino-American Student Organization, and joining Alpha Phi Omega, the co-ed community service fraternity.

I keep busy with all of these activities in order to meet more people on campus, try new activities, and set new goals for myself academically and socially.
